The inaugural edition of «Introduction to Psychedelic Therapy: Research and Clinical Practice» at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon has come to a close.

This first edition marked a pioneering step in university education in this field in Portugal. The course brought together an outstanding faculty, with contributions from national and international specialists, while creating a space for learning, critical discussion and exchange across professional disciplines.

Beyond the teaching itself, a community also emerged. Clinicians, researchers and other professionals interested in the field had the opportunity to meet, exchange perspectives and establish new connections.

The completion of this inaugural edition therefore marks both the success of a pioneering initiative and the beginning of a community that we hope to continue developing and strengthening through future editions.
